I am a self taught artist from India. Painting for me is like meditation, it calms my mind and gives me purpose and a new dimension to my already satisfying life. My subjects vary from still life, landscapes, urbanscapes to portraits and is uniquely identifiable by its realistic touch. My paintings have been on display at the following International Watercolor Exhibitions IWS Delhi, Fabriano, IWS Canada, IWS Hong Kong, IWS Thailand and more. A blank canvas/paper is a new opportunity to paint my soul and experiences defining the beauty of life over and over again with colours, light, shapes and shades.

This is a short video of how I creat a
gradation from dark to light when the
surface has texture.
Once the values are in place,
I gently creat a texture that has
no definite shape but a pattern
due to the light source, keeping that
in mind, I paint to gently merge
the light and shadows.
Thou as you may see it looks
very light but the end result
will show you its purpose.
